Nonick, the International Internet Trends Conference, organised by the Basque Government through SPRI and eitb.com, with the collaboration of CBT, Comunicación y Multimedia, will be holding its 4th edition on 15 and 16 June, in Sala Multibox, at the headquarters of Basque Public Television in Bilbao.

After focusing on mobile applications, online communities and web-based TV in the past, this year Nonick is all about gaming, the video game industry and games for mobile devices (smartphones and tablets). This sector is constantly growing and is worth over 60 billion euros a year all over the world.

Nonick’s programme will comprise a total of seven conferences, two round tables and wide range of workshops, which attendees themselves can offer to make their projects known, share knowledge or for networking.

Nonick will also include, for the fourth consecutive year, the Start Up 2.0 Competition final, a competition for newly-established companies that use 2.0 technologies, in which five finalists present their projects related to the world of video games to a jury made up of specialists and developers from all over the world.

In its fourth edition, Nonick expects 300 experts from around the world to attend. The event takes place in English and the registration period is already open at a reduced price, including all the conferences and workshops, coffee breaks, lunch and the official Nonick dinner in Kafe Antzokia, in Bilbao.
